Do I need a permit to remodel in Lake Las Vegas?
Cosmetic work such as paint, flooring and like-for-like fixture swaps usually does not need one. Plumbing, electrical, structural and layout changes do, and in Lake Las Vegas those permits are issued by the City of Henderson's Building & Fire Safety division. As a licensed Nevada general contractor we handle required permits and inspections for you.
Does my HOA need to approve a remodel in Lake Las Vegas?
Lake Las Vegas has a master association and individual neighborhood or condominium associations, several with strict design standards. Interior remodels that don't change the outside of the home generally don't need association approval, while additions, casitas, new windows or doors and other exterior changes usually do. Check your community's rules before finalizing a design.
How long does a remodel take in Lake Las Vegas?
It depends on scope. Most bathroom remodels take between 2 and 4 weeks. A kitchen can run from a few weeks for a minor update to several months for a full renovation.
